Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
AutoVersio AB ("AutoVersio", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit autoversio.com or contact us, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.
1. Data controller
The data controller is AutoVersio AB, registration number 559538-9387, Melongatan 2A, 754 49 Uppsala, Sweden, Sweden. For any privacy question, contact info@autoversio.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact requests. When you use our contact form or email us, we process the name, work email, organization, and message you provide — solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in answering prospective customers, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may process technical data (IP address, browser, timestamp) to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
3. Cookies & analytics
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We use a self-hosted, first-party visit counter running on our own server. It stores no IP addresses and uses no cookies; visits are counted via a salted hash that rotates daily and cannot be traced back to you. No data is shared with any third party.
4. Sharing & transfers
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the site (e.g. our hosting and, if enabled, email/analytics providers), under data processing agreements. We aim to keep all processing within the EU/EEA. We do not use any third-party sub-processors for website data. Contact form submissions and visit statistics are processed and stored solely on our own web server within the EU (hosted by Loopia AB, Sweden).
5. Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then delete it. Contact inquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle your request, at most 24 months. Aggregate visit statistics contain no personal data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any right, email info@autoversio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, consistent with the principles that underpin our products.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
